A Course in Miracles and the Message with the Secret8031857

Within the last year, lots of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and also the perspective of a course in miracles online, around the popular book and film The Secret. I had been also recently asked to participate in a professional panel discussion about the Secret and the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

While i see it, The Secret offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The first message is that our thoughts use a powerful influence on our life. The subsequent insight is always that we are eligible to a wealthy life, although true wealth is more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it calls for feeling fulfilled in every areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we need to do is look within to learn if, actually, we feel value authentic wealth.

Another message that is subtly conveyed within the Secret, then one that I believe to be real, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire and that we say yes to doing our part to manifest the desire, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come to life.

On the flip side, Personally i think the idea that more "toys" in the form of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats is likely to make us happy and will be the demonstration of our ability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people who are already "bankrupt" in the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The situation with this picture is that the desire to have often develops from a feeling of lack rather than a feeling of completeness. And because of this, everything we gain in dreams of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will in the end not work, since we feel a void internally.

The reality is that we are not empty, but already full, when we understand and feel this to become our new reality, then a outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree that we can accept and become truly grateful for your inheritance for being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we are going to attract to ourselves the right outward expressions of our own claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will then miraculously bring into manifestation any material things that will serve the greater good of both our life and also those around us, but we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
