A Course in Miracles and the Message from the Secret9295208

Within the last year, many individuals have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of a course in miracles book, on the popular book and film The Secret. I had been also recently asked to participate in a professional panel discussion around the Secret as well as the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

While i see it, The key offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The very first message is always that our thoughts have a powerful influence on our life. The following insight is that we are eligible to a wealthy life, although true wealth is much more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it involves feeling fulfilled in every areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we should need to do is look within to find out if, in fact, we feel value authentic wealth.

Another message that is subtly conveyed in The Secret, and something that I believe really was, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire and that we say yes to doing our part to manifest the will, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.

On the flip side, I'm the idea that more "toys" by means of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats will make us happy and will also be the demonstration of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many people who are already "bankrupt" within the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The situation with this picture would be that the desire to have often develops from a feeling of lack as opposed to a feeling of completeness. And because of this, whatever we gain in about feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will in the end not work, since we feel a void internally.

The fact is that we are not empty, but already full, and when we understand and feel this to become our new reality, then a outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree that we can accept and stay truly grateful for our inheritance for being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we are going to attract to ourselves the right outward expressions of our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our authentic Self will miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will serve the more good of both our life and of those around us, yet we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
