A Course in Miracles and the Message of The Secret1527130

Over the past year, many individuals have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of acim, about the popular book and movie The Secret. I was also recently inspired to participate in a specialist panel discussion on The Secret as well as the law of attraction in the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

When i see it, The key offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The initial message is the fact that our thoughts use a powerful influence on our life. The following insight is always that we are eligible for a wealthy life, although true wealth is much more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it requires feeling fulfilled in all areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we need to do is look within to discover if, in reality, we feel worthy of authentic wealth.

Another message that is subtly conveyed inside the Secret, then one that I believe really was, is that once we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the need, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces stand out.

On the flip side, Personally i think the idea that more "toys" as cars, houses, jet planes, and boats is likely to make us happy and you will be the illustration showing our capability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many individuals who are already "bankrupt" within the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The issue with this picture would be that the desire to have often comes from a feeling of lack as opposed to a feeling of completeness. And because of this, whatever we gain in dreams of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will finally not work, because we feel a void internally.

The truth is that we are not empty, but already full, so when we understand and feel this being our new reality, then the outer world starts to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree that we can accept and stay truly grateful for your inheritance as being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we'll attract to ourselves an ideal outward expressions in our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will serve the more good of both our life and also those around us, yet we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
