A Course in Miracles and the Message of The Secret1128816

Over the past year, lots of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, as well as the perspective of acim book, around the popular book and movie The Secret. I was also recently required to participate in a specialist panel discussion about the Secret as well as the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

While i see it, The trick offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The first message is always that our thoughts possess a powerful affect on our life. The next insight is the fact that we are eligible for a wealthy life, although true wealth is more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it requires feeling fulfilled in all areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. That which you need to do is look within to find out if, actually, we feel worthy of authentic wealth.

Another message that's subtly conveyed inside the Secret, then one that I believe to be real, is that when we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the desire, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces stand out.

On the flip side, I'm the idea that more "toys" in the form of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats is likely to make us happy and will also be the type of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many people who are already "bankrupt" inside the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The issue with this picture would be that the desire to have often develops from a feeling of lack as opposed to a feeling of completeness. And due to this, whatever we gain in hopes of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will in the end not work, since we feel a void internally.

The fact is that we are not empty, but already full, so when we understand and feel this being our new reality, then a outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that as far as that we can accept and stay truly grateful for the inheritance as being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we'll attract to ourselves the right outward expressions of our own claimed inner worth. This reclaiming in our authentic Self will likely then miraculously bring into manifestation any material things that will serve the more good of both our life and of those around us, and yet we will feel no dependency upon them for the happiness.
