Creating brochure designs sounds simple, right? There are many things that should be thought about before jumping into creative mode. Ultimately you would like to end up with a brochure that isn't only attractive, but effective too.

One important detail which needs to be addressed before starting the actual brochure designs is organization! Organization is vital to making your investment of time provide an exceptional piece. Maintaining your information you gather in an organized fashion will make your brochure design get together smoothly. First you need to have the information you need, photos, artwork, and printing parameters, all of these your client can provide. Next you need to learn some of the finer details.

Do you know the printing parameters? The size of brochure will it be when folded? When open? Could it be printed with a bleed? Does it require special folds or die-cuts?
