What is coliving? Those who are not related by blood, marriage varieties choosing how to design a coliving community, by which individuals and the collective share resources plus an intention of living sustainably and harmoniously with one another and the planet.

Coliving is a modern form of shared housing for like-minded visitors to live, work and play together. Coliving being a modern concept loosely goes back nearly century in the form of tenements yet may also be considered linked to much older forms of communal living including the longhouse. Its contemporary form has only gained prominence lately as a combination of factors have led to interest in this kind of living space, including a lack of housing opportunities, the price of independent accommodation and raising finance to buy, plus a growing fascination with lifestyles not dependent upon long-term contracts.
