What is coliving? People who are not related by blood, marriage or others choosing how to design a co-living space, in which individuals and also the collective share resources plus an intention of living sustainably and harmoniously with each other and the planet.

Coliving is a modern type of shared housing for like-minded visitors to live, work and play together. Coliving being a modern concept loosely goes back nearly a century in the form of tenements yet can also be considered linked to much older forms of communal living such as the longhouse. Its contemporary form only has gained prominence recently as a combination of factors have triggered interest in this type of living space, together with a lack of housing opportunities, the cost of independent accommodation and raising finance to get, plus a growing curiosity about lifestyles not dependent upon long-term contracts.
