A Course in Miracles and also the Message of The Secret1805821

In the last year, many people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of acim, around the popular book and film The Secret. I had been also recently inspired to participate in a specialist panel discussion on The Secret and also the law of attraction at the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

As I see it, The trick offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The first message is always that our thoughts use a powerful influence on our life. The following insight is always that we are entitled to a wealthy life, although true wealth is a lot more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it calls for feeling fulfilled in every areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we should need to do is look within to discover if, in reality, we feel worthy of authentic wealth.

Another message that is subtly conveyed inside the Secret, and something that I believe to be real, is that once we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the desire, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.

On the flip side, Personally i think the idea that more "toys" by means of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats can make us happy and you will be the illustration showing our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people who are already "bankrupt" in the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The situation with this picture would be that the desire to have often comes from a feeling of lack rather than a feeling of completeness. These types of this, everything we gain in hopes of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will finally not work, since we feel a void internally.

The fact is that we are not empty, but already full, and when we understand and feel this being our new reality, then a outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that as far as that we can accept and become truly grateful for our inheritance as being a definite unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we'll attract to ourselves an ideal outward expressions of our own claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will then miraculously bring into manifestation any material things that will serve the higher good of both our life and of those around us, but we will feel no dependency upon them for the happiness.
