A Course in Miracles as well as the Message from the Secret1620387

Over the past year, many people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of acim book, on the popular book and film The Secret. I was also recently inspired to participate in a professional panel discussion around the Secret and the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

While i see it, The key offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The very first message is always that our thoughts have a powerful affect on our life. The following insight is always that we are eligible to a wealthy life, although true wealth is more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it requires feeling fulfilled in most areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we should need to do is look within to discover if, in reality, we feel value authentic wealth.

Another message which is subtly conveyed within the Secret, then one that I believe to be real, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire so we say yes to doing our part to manifest the will, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come to life.

On the flip side, I'm the idea that more "toys" in the form of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats is likely to make us happy and will be the demonstration of our capability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people who are already "bankrupt" inside the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The problem with this picture is that the desire to have often develops from a feeling of lack instead of a feeling of completeness. And due to this, everything we gain in dreams of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will finally not work, because we feel a void internally.

The reality is that we are not empty, but already full, so when we understand and feel this to become our new reality, then the outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree that we can accept and be truly grateful for our inheritance as being a definite unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we'll attract to ourselves the perfect outward expressions of our own claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will then miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will serve the more good of both our life and of those around us, yet we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
