A Course in Miracles as well as the Message from the Secret670023

As I see it, The Secret offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating. The initial message is always that our thoughts possess a powerful affect on our life. Instead, it requires feeling fulfilled in most areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. Another message that is subtly conveyed within the Secret, then one that I believe really was, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the will, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.

On the flip side, I feel the idea that more "toys" by means of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats will make us happy and will also be the demonstration of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people who are already "bankrupt" within the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The situation with this picture would be that the desire to have often develops from a feeling of lack as opposed to a feeling of completeness. And because of this, whatever we gain in dreams of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will inevitably not work, because we feel a void internally.

The truth is that we are not empty, but already full, and when we understand and feel this to be our new reality, then a outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree that we can accept and stay truly grateful for the inheritance as being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we are going to attract to ourselves an ideal outward expressions of our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our authentic Self will miraculously bring into manifestation any material things that will serve the greater good of both our life as well as those around us, but we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
