In the last year, lots of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, as well as the perspective of acim book, around the popular book and film The Secret. On the flip side, I'm the idea that more "toys" in the form of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats is likely to make us happy and will be the type of our ability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many people who are already "bankrupt" within the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The problem with this picture would be that the desire to have often comes from a feeling of lack instead of a feeling of completeness. And due to this, everything we gain in hopes of feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will in the end not work, since we feel a void internally.

The truth is that we are not empty, but already full, and when we understand and feel this being our new reality, then your outer world begins to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that as far as that we can accept and become truly grateful for the inheritance for being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we'll attract to ourselves the right outward expressions of our own claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will serve the higher good of both our life as well as those around us, yet we will feel no dependency upon them for your happiness.
