When individuals hear the language prehistory explained, most of them think automatically when it comes to secrets, conspiracy, cover up's, mystical powers, pseudo science and so on and so forth. However, in the following paragraphs we will take a look at Ancient Mysteries in a non bias and various way. Neither pro nor con, but simply in terms of solving them along with what impact this might have on our world and society. In order to do this we have to look at those mysteries as what the really are: Mysteries! Anything, nothing less.
The first thing we want to do, when viewing mysteries, is not to pay to much awareness of any theories or other far out explanations. We just use good sense as to what is possible and what not. Just the facts, that it is mystery. Needless to say in mainstream archeology, speculation and deduction is part of the process. However, there it is based on evidence and discoveries. In this post we will not a lot of time on actually solving any mysteries, but instead we will take a look at what the impact on society would be, if any of the mysteries could be solved. By solved, we mean either the invention of unknown, long forgotten methods or processes, or prove beyond a fair doubt, that there's simple, right down to earth explanation compared to that mystery. In a few follow up articles, we will look at some individual mysteries in depth, but for now, we are going to deal with the entire possible advantages of solving Ancient Mysteries. First, let's wait and watch what kind of "categories" of mysteries are actually there. Well, the range is a pretty wide one and goes from medicine, mind body connection, religion and spirituality, construction, transportation to astronomy and much more. So, now the question is, how all this translate into pro or cons for the planet and society? Well, here it is. Take for example the mystery of ancient building techniques. Everyone agrees how the ancient builders used huge stone blocks to create their cities and monuments around the globe. Most of the time in remote regions, where there weren't even any building materials available and it was also unattainable to grow food for your work force, and also the stone blocks must be transported a while for hundreds of miles to acquire them to the building site. The disagreement is one of the HOW this all was being done. Yes, the archeologist have found some evidence that claim that it was finished with wooden rollers and wooden sledges, pulled by man as well as the project took decades to perform.. No more dust, forget about blast debris, gentler towards the environment no more rows of heavy equipment like bull dozers or hauling trucks. Also, the surfacing with the roadway could be made much simpler and faster. Entire new spin-off industries would develop, which in turn would create jobs and investment. What the economy needs. I suppose by now it's pretty obvious, that the solving of a single ancient mystery have a great positive impact on our society as well as on our planet as a whole. It would make survive earth a great deal better. As there are so many mysteries and secrets out there, one can only imagine what kind of changes might be brought about. Of course, if it turns out, that most those mysteries have simply simple, down to earth, explanations in the end? So what! A minimum of the mystery is solved.
