When individuals hear the words prehistory, most of them think automatically when it comes to secrets, conspiracy, cover up's, mystical powers, pseudo science and so forth and so forth. However, in this article we will examine Ancient Mysteries in the non bias and different way. Neither pro nor con, but merely in terms of solving them and what impact this might have on our world and society. To do this we have to look at those mysteries as exactly what the really are: Mysteries! No more, nothing less.

The very first thing we want to do, when looking at mysteries, just isn't to pay to much attention to any theories or any other far out explanations. We simply use good sense as to what can be done and what not. Only the facts, that it is mystery. Needless to say in mainstream archeology, speculation and deduction belongs to the process. However, there it really is based on incriminating evidence and discoveries. In the following paragraphs we will not a lot of time on actually solving any mysteries, but rather we will look at what the impact on society will be, if any of the mysteries will be solved. By solved, we mean either the discovery of unknown, long forgotten methods or processes, or prove beyond an acceptable doubt, that there are simple, down to earth explanation compared to that mystery. In a few follow up articles, we'll look at some individual mysteries in greater detail, but for now, we are going to deal with the entire possible advantages of solving Ancient Mysteries. First, let's see what kind of "categories" of mysteries are in fact there. Well, the number is a pretty wide one and goes from medicine, mind body connection, religion and spirituality, construction, transportation to astronomy and more. So, now the question is, how this all translate into pro or cons for the planet and society? Well, here you go. Take for example the mystery of ancient building techniques. Everyone agrees how the ancient builders used huge stone blocks to construct their cities and monuments around the globe. Most of the time in remote regions, and then there weren't even any building materials available and it was also unattainable to grow food for that work force, and also the stone blocks had to be transported some time for hundreds of miles to acquire them to the construction site. The disagreement is one of the HOW this all was being done. Yes, the archeologist have discovered some evidence that suggest that it was all done with wooden rollers and wooden sledges, pulled by man and also the project took decades to perform.. Not to mention the precise stone cutting and fitting.

However, this does not seem to explain every one of the aspects of those massive construction projects, well. There might have been something else taking place, something we are missing. But, as said before, we are not planning to investigate the mysteries themselves, but alternatively the impact it could have, if any of those alternative technology theories would be proven right. Is it possible to imagine what the discovery of your new transportation technology would do in order to our society? No longer about standard fuels guzzling, environment polluting cars, trucks, construction vehicles, rail roads and so on. The transportation industry would be revolutionized. Not forgetting the instant cleaner air that we would be breathing. You have to the stone cutting technology. You can forget blasting of tunnels and roadways, along with mining for minerals. Roads and tunnels could possibly be cut nicely, clean and smoothly outside the mountains or another terrain. You can forget dust, you can forget blast debris, gentler towards the environment with no more rows of heavy equipment like bull dozers or hauling trucks. Also, the surfacing with the roadway would be made easier and faster. Entire new spin-off industries would develop, which in turn would create jobs and investment. What the economy needs. I suppose by now it's pretty obvious, the solving of a single ancient mystery could have a great positive effect on our society and also on our planet overall. It would make live on earth a lot better. As there are so many mysteries and secrets out there, one can only imagine what sort of changes might be brought about. And if it turns out, that most those mysteries have simply straight forward, down to earth, explanations in the end? So what! A minimum of the mystery is solved.
