When people hear the words ancient mysteries, most of them think automatically in terms of secrets, conspiracy, cover up's, mystical powers, pseudo science and so forth and so forth. However, in this post we will look at Ancient Mysteries in the non bias and different way. Neither pro nor con, but merely in terms of solving them and just what impact this would have on our world and society. In order to do this we have to look at those mysteries as what are the really are: Mysteries! No more, nothing less.
The very first thing we want to do, when viewing mysteries, is not to pay to much attention to any theories or other far out explanations. We simply use sound judgment as to what can be done and what not. Only the facts, that it is mystery. Obviously in mainstream archeology, speculation and deduction belongs to the process. However, there it is based on incriminating evidence and discoveries. In the following paragraphs we will not a lot of time on actually solving any mysteries, but alternatively we will take a look at what the influence on society would be, if any of the mysteries would be solved. By solved, we mean either the invention of unknown, long forgotten methods or processes, or prove beyond an acceptable doubt, that there is simple, down to earth explanation compared to that mystery. In some follow up articles, we are going to look at some individual mysteries in depth, but for now, we'll deal with the entire possible great things about solving Ancient Mysteries. First, let's wait and watch what kind of "categories" of mysteries are in fact there. Well, the range is a pretty wide one and goes from medicine, mind body connection, religion and spirituality, construction, transportation to astronomy plus more. So, the actual question is, how all of this translate into pro or cons for the planet and society? Well, here you go. Take for example the mystery of ancient building techniques. Everyone agrees that the ancient builders used huge stone blocks to create their cities and monuments around the globe. Most of the time in remote regions, where there weren't even any building materials available plus it was also unattainable to grow food for your work force, and also the stone blocks must be transported time for hundreds of miles to obtain them to the building site. The disagreement is one of the HOW this all was being done. Yes, the archeologist are finding some evidence that suggest that it was finished with wooden rollers and wooden sledges, pulled by man and the project took decades to perform.. Not to mention the particular stone cutting and fitting.
However, it doesn't seem to explain all of the aspects of those massive construction projects, perfectly. There might have already been something else taking place, something we are missing. But, as said before, we are not likely to investigate the mysteries themselves, but alternatively the impact it might have, if any of those alternative technology theories could be proven right. Is it possible to imagine what the discovery of your new transportation technology would do in order to our society? No longer about fossil fuels guzzling, environment polluting cars, trucks, construction vehicles, rail roads and so on. The transportation industry would be revolutionized. Not to mention the instant cleaner air that we would be breathing. You have to the stone cutting technology. Forget about blasting of tunnels and roadways, as well as mining for minerals. Roads and tunnels might be cut nicely, clean and smoothly right out of the mountains or other terrain. You can forget dust, you can forget blast debris, gentler towards the environment no more rows of heavy equipment like bull dozers or hauling trucks. Also, the surfacing of the roadway will be made easier and faster. Entire new spin-off industries would develop, which in turn would create jobs and investment. What the economy needs. I guess by now it's pretty obvious, how the solving of just one ancient mystery have a great positive effect on our society and also on our planet as a whole. It would make go on earth a lot better. Since there are so many mysteries and secrets out there, one can only imagine what kind of changes could possibly be brought about. Of course, if it turns out, that those mysteries have simply easy, down to earth, explanations after all? So what! No less than the mystery is solved.
