When folks hear what prehistory explained, many of them think automatically with regards to secrets, conspiracy, cover up's, mystical powers, pseudo science and so forth and so forth. However, in the following paragraphs we will take a look at Ancient Mysteries in the non bias and different way. Neither pro nor con, but simply in terms of solving them and just what impact this might have on our world and society. To do this we have to look at those mysteries as exactly what the really are: Mysteries! No more, nothing less.

The very first thing we want to do, when looking at mysteries, isn't to pay to much attention to any theories or other far out explanations. We simply use common sense as to what can be done and what not. Just the facts, that it is a mystery. Obviously in mainstream archeology, speculation and deduction belongs to the process. However, there it really is based on hard evidence and discoveries. In this post we will not a lot of time on actually solving any mysteries, but rather we will take a look at what the influence on society would be, if any of the mysteries would be solved. By solved, we mean either the discovery of unknown, long forgotten methods or processes, or prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that there are simple, right down to earth explanation to that particular mystery. In some follow up articles, we'll look at some individual mysteries in greater detail, but for now, we will deal with the general possible great things about solving Ancient Mysteries. First, let's wait and watch what kind of "categories" of mysteries are in reality there. Well, the number is a pretty wide one and goes from medicine, mind body connection, religion and spirituality, construction, transportation to astronomy plus more. So, the actual question is, how all of this translate into pro or cons for our planet and society? Well, here it is. Take for example the mystery of ancient building techniques. Everyone agrees that the ancient builders used huge stone blocks to construct their cities and monuments around the globe. Most of the time in remote regions, where there weren't even any building materials available and it was also close to impossible to grow food for that work force, and also the stone blocks had to be transported some time for countless miles to obtain them to the construction site. The disagreement is about the HOW this all was being done. Yes, the archeologist have discovered some evidence that claim that it was finished with wooden rollers and wooden sledges, pulled by man as well as the project took decades to accomplish.. Not to mention the precise stone cutting and fitting.

However, this does not seem to explain all the aspects of those massive construction projects, very well. There might happen to be something else going on, something we're missing. But, as said before, we are not going to investigate the mysteries themselves, but instead the impact it might have, if any of those alternative technology theories will be proven right. Are you able to imagine what the discovery of your new transportation technology would do in order to our society? No longer about fossil fuels guzzling, environment polluting cars, trucks, construction vehicles, rail roads and so forth. The transportation industry could be revolutionized. Not forgetting the instant cleaner air that we would be breathing. You have to the stone cutting technology. You can forget blasting of tunnels and roadways, as well as mining for minerals. Roads and tunnels might be cut nicely, neat and smoothly away from the mountains or another terrain. Forget about dust, you can forget blast debris, gentler for the environment no more rows of heavy equipment like bull dozers or hauling trucks. Also, the surfacing with the roadway could be made easier and faster. Entire new spin-off industries would develop, which often would create jobs and investment. What the economy needs. I assume by now it's pretty obvious, that the solving of a single ancient mystery have a great positive effect on our society as well as on our planet overall. It would make survive earth so much better. Since there are so many mysteries and secrets on the market, one can only imagine what type of changes could possibly be brought about. And if it turns out, that most those mysteries have simply easy, down to earth, explanations in the end? So what! At least the mystery is solved.
